First Equity Group, LLC and Harlem Irving Companies are proposing a multi-family redevelopment of the property at the northwest corner of Central Rd and Main Street. The project received a positive recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission and approval from the Village Board at their March 5, 2019 Village Board Meeting. See related News item. Maple Street Lofts - E. Prospect Ave & Maple St.

At the April 9, 2019 Village Board Meeting, the Village Board approved a Conditional Use for a Final Planned Unit Development and a Redevelopment Agreement for the Maple Street Lofts project, both by the vote of 5-1.

Community SurveyThe Village conducted a resident survey in September 2016 with the assistance of a consultant, ETC Institute.
