Prevailing wages are  established by the State of Illinois for public works projects provided by contractors.   The prevailing wage rates for Cook County effective September 1, 2017.

Community Survey

The Village conducted a resident survey in September 2016 with the assistance of a consultant, ETC Institute. The survey asked residents to rate their experiences with Village services, programs and community outreach. The results of this survey was presented to the Village board in November of 2016. Freedom of Information Requests

To request public records from the Village, please use our CRM portal.  Choose the appropriate FOIA category, fill out the fields completely and submit.  It will be routed to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Officer. Village staff will reply within five days. Learn more...

 

Lobbying / Advocacy Information

The Village of Mount Prospect does not engage in any direct legislative lobbying through a paid lobbyist or lobby firm. However, Village Board members and staff participate in a variety of professional organizations and intergovernmental cooperatives.
