In an effort to help identify and address specific community concerns within each patrol beat, each beat will host two “beat meetings” during the year. One of the beat meetings will occur during the spring and one will occur during the fall. During the meetings, the beat sergeant and officers will share with the residents and business representatives calls for service data, as well as prevention messages. They will give an opportunity for the community to voice concerns in their neighborhoods and work with the officers to identify and implement solutions to these concerns.
