The Department offers a wide variety of services that address Public Health, Social Service needs and Senior Recreation. Services can be accessed at Village Hall and the Community Connections Center. Bilingual English/ Spanish speaking staff are available at both locations. Older adults can socialize and build connections contributing to wellbeing . We offer diverse opportunities, from informational pop-up programs and engaging classes to fun clubs and social gatherings.

Bingocize (Returning 2026)
Bingocize is an evidence-based health promotion program that combines the popular game of Bingo with exercise and/or health education. It's specifically designed for older adults to improve their physical, social, and mental well-being.
Fit 4 Life Fridays
Join us at 10am every Friday for Fit 4 Life Fridays! Enjoy a great workout with our seated classes, rotating weekly between Zumba Gold, Exercise with the Village Nurse, and Whole-Body Wellness. It's a fun way to get fit and connect with others!
Game Day
Join us for Senior Game Day, a monthly drop-in program held every 2nd Monday from 9:30am-11am at Village Hall and every 4th Thursday of the month from 11:30pm-1pm at the Community Connections Center. It's a great chance to socialize and play assorted games!
Pop up Programs

Senior Connections
This event is hosted at Village Hall in the Farley Community Room from 9:00 – 10:30 am every other month. Come join your Village team (Police Department, Fire Department, Human Services Department) to learn, socialize, and engage in a Q & A session with the village team! Light Refreshments served. (Mount Prospect residents only) 2026 Dates: February 5, April 2, June 4, August 6, October 1, & November 19.
Wits Workout - New program starting June 2026.
Wits Workout" is a brain health program developed by the University of Illinois Extension. It's designed for older adults to promote cognitive function and social engagement.
2nd Annual Older Adult Social Engagement Expo is returning on April 17, 2026 from 9:30-11:30am
