The COVID-19 crisis has impacted many Mount Prospect residents who have seen a reduction in work hours and are now without pay due to closures in the service industry.  The Village’s Human Services Department anticipates a dramatic increase in requests for the  Village’s food pantry and emergency financial assistance.

Residents who would like to assist the Human Services Department with a monetary donation may now do so online, via PayPal. Donations will be placed in the Department's Emergency Assistance Fund and can be earmarked for a specific cause, such as the food pantry, if you prefer.

Residents who may be experiencing financial difficulties during this time are encouraged to call the Human Services Department at 847/870-5680 to schedule an appointment for a food pick up. Staff is prepared to screen new participants via phone. Those whose health is compromised may be eligible to have their food delivered.
