Mount Prospect Trivia Battle of the Ages is a live trivia contest taking place on the main stage at the Mount Prospect Block Party on Saturday, July 25, residents of Mount Prospect against each other to find out who has the greatest trivia minds in Mount Prospect. The contest will comprise three qualifying rounds and a final round. 

The winner from each round will compete head-to-head in the final round to determine the champion.

Prizes

The winner of each round will win a prize worth $50 and the grand prize winner will win a package worth $500. 

Qualifying

Anyone wishing to participate as a contestant in the Mount Prospect Trivia Battle of the Ages must fill out a form below and be available to take a pre-qualifying quiz on Wednesday, July 15th at 6 pm at Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson Street. A timed written test will be administered. Those scoring the highest will qualify for the contest. Qualifiers will be notified by email or phone call. 

Rules of the Battle of the Ages

Contestants will answer questions in one of four categories randomly picked out of a deck of questions by the host. Categories consist of:

1. General knowledge

2. Entertainment

3. Sports

4. Mount Prospect Trivia

Each round will consist of 20 questions. The contestant with the most points at the end of 20 questions will win the round. Ties will be determined by a question with a quantifiable answer. The contestant closest to the answer wins.
