Join the Special Events Commission for a free community bike ride!

Spend some quality time with your family or just enjoy a leisurely 4-mile bike ride around Mount Prospect with your neighbors. Before or after the ride, hang out for some bike safety education and visit booths from local organizations.

Giveaways

Bike Helmets: Once again, the Mount Prospect Lions Club charitably sponsored a giveaway of 75 child- and youth-sized helmets. Helmets were given away on a first come, first served basis through registration - the giveaway has ended as we have reached the maximum amount. Those who signed up to receive a complimentary helmet should note that children must be present at the event to receive it.

Raising Cane's: Kids who complete the bike ride will receive a Bike Ride Achievement Award from the Mount Prospect Raising Cane's - good for a free Kids Combo!

Registration Form

 2025 registration is now open. Residents of surrounding communities are welcome and encouraged to register for the bike ride!

Route Map

The Family Bike Ride route is designed to be leisurely and not too physically taxing for inexperienced riders. Experienced riders may loop around and ride the route twice if they please.
