Human Services Department to Offer Human Trafficking 101 Presentation
January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. The Mount Prospect Human Services Department has coordinated with the FBI to provide a presentation on Human Trafficking 101. The presentation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 from 11am—12pm at the Mount Prospect Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson St, Mount Prospect in the 3rd Floor Board Room.
The presentation will provide a basic understanding of human trafficking and how to identify a trafficking victim. The presenter, FBI Agent Carrie Landau, will also discuss the psychology behind human trafficking, how traffickers gain and maintain their control and trends in recruiting.
