Police Department Makes Arrest for Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault

On August 22, 2019, the Mount Prospect Police Department arrested Raymond S. Grenke, 31 years old, 1001 Cottonwood Lane, Mount Prospect, Illinois. Grenke was charged with one felony count of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault stemming from several instances of sexual assault involving a juvenile family member.
On August 14, 2019, the Mount Prospect Police Department followed up on a report through the Department of Children and Family Services for an outcry made by a juvenile at a local school of potential physical abuse of the minor by a family member.
Following a forensic interview of the victim, Grenke was taken into custody and interviewed by detectives. Grenke admitted to his involvement in physical abuse of a juvenile.
One felony count of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault was approved for Grenke. Grenke was transported to the Cook County Courthouse for a bond hearing on August 25, 2019 and was held without bond. Grenke appeared in court on August 27, 2019 at the Cook County 3rd District Courthouse in Rolling Meadows. Grenke’s bond was reduced to $150,000.00 (D) with special conditions including electronic monitoring. The next court date for Grenke is September 23rd, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in Room 108 of the Rolling Meadows Courthouse.
