2027 State of Illinois Candidate's Guide
To file for candidacy individuals must submit the following documents in the Office of the Mount Prospect Village Clerk:
- Nonpartisan Candidate Petitions (Village of Mount Prospect suggested petition form- SBE No. P-4)
- Nonpartisan Statement of Candidacy (SBE No. P-1A - 2027 State of Illinois Candidate's Guide)
- Statement of Economic Interests receipt (Secretary of State, Cook County Clerk's Office or State Board of Elections)
- Loyalty Oath (Optional)

November 16-23, 2026 Filing period
December 2, 2026 Last day to file objections to nomination papers
December 3, 2026 Simultaneous Filing Lottery (if necessary)
