In observance of Independence Day, Village offices will be closed on Friday, July 3. Emergency services will not be affected. Garbage pickup will proceed as normal.

On July 4, the Village of Mount Prospect will host its annual 4th of July parade, kicking off at Emerson Street and Prospect Avenue at 1 pm. The parade will end up at Melas Park along Prospect Ave. and Central Rd., where the Mount Prospect Lions Club will be hosting their 87th annual 4th of July Festival.
