The Board of Trustees has approved funds to provide 2025 Mount Prospect real estate tax relief for qualifying owners of single-family residences. This opportunity is available to households who have a gross annual income equal to or less than: $30,120 for 1 person; or $40,880 for 2 or more persons. The rebate is equal to 50 percent of the Village’s portion of the total 2024 Cook County real estate tax bill, up to a maximum of $250.00. Please apply after you have paid the 2nd installment of your 2024 tax bill.

Assistance in completing the application will be available at Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson Street in the Finance Department on Tuesday, December 16, 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm, and Friday, December 19, 9:30 am-12:00 pm (no appointment is necessary). Information will be mailed out in November to those who have participated in the program.
