On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at approximately 5:32 PM, the Mount Prospect Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the business located at 403 East Euclid Avenue, El Amigo Carniceria. The preliminary investigation revealed a male entered the grocery store and displayed a black colored handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The offender then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of United States Currency (USC). The offender left the area in a white colored SUV. The store clerk along with another employee in the store were not injured. There were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery.
The offender is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 35-45 years old, approximately 5’04”-5’06” tall, medium build, wearing a black colored hoodie and black colored pants.
