Police Commander Graduates from Executive Management Program at Northwestern University

On Friday, November 7, 2025, Mount Prospect Police Commander Frank Raus graduated from Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety, Executive Management Program. The Executive Management Program is three weeks of an intensive examination of law enforcement trends that allows participants to workshop the critical issues shaping law enforcement today. Program participants gain tools and knowledge for proactively responding to dynamic public safety environments.
Commander Raus is a 27-year veteran of the agency who has served as firearms instructor, field youth officer, investigator, field training officer and as an arson investigator. Raus was promoted to sergeant in 2012 and promoted to Commander in 2023 and currently oversees the Investigations Section.
