NOTICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the hour of 4:00 p.m., there will be a public hearing at the Mount Prospect Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson Street, Mount Prospect, IL, concerning the following:

NATURE OF REQUEST:                  The Petitioner proposes to replace an existing patio with a new patio, reducing lot coverage from 57% (4,351 sf) to 53% (4,081 sf) on the 7,633 square foot lot. As both figures exceed the 50% maximum, the Petitioner has applied for a Minor Variation to maintain the resulting 53% lot coverage, which remains 265 square feet over the permitted maximum.

This is not a "notice to appear".  It is an invitation to all interested persons to submit oral or written comments concerning the above case to the Director of Community Development at 50 S. The Director of Community Development will make a decision based on the information discussed at the meeting; the Director of Community Development’s decision is final for this case.
