799 Biermann Court

At the March 6, 2018 Village Board meeting, the Village discussed the acquisition of the property located at 799 Biermann Court for the purposes of a future police headquarters. The issues with the current police headquarters have been documented both through the Space Needs Study as presented to the board on November 28, 2017,  and through the details of everyday experiences of our officers and staff. The 799 Biermann Court property provides an opportunity to cure a critical limitation of our current facility. The adaptive re-use of the building allows for significant savings [$10 million] when compared to constructing a new building, and is an ideal fit for a modern police headquarters. The Village Board voted 6-0 on authorization of the acquisition of 799 Biermann Court on March 6, 2018. This vote allows the 45-day due diligence to begin, during which time the Village may or may not move forward toward closing on the property.

Key Dates

There is a 45 day due diligence period associated with the purchase of the 799 Biermann Court property. During this time, there will be several meetings and opportunities for public feedback on this project.
