As part of the solid waste collection program all residential properties receiving curbside collection are issued two wheeled carts, one for refuse and the second cart for recycling.

These durable, plastic wheeled carts are designed specifically for residential properties. The wheeled carts are designed to be lifted mechanically by garbage trucks. The carts feature a permanently attached lid, a handle that allows for easy maneuvering and are guaranteed by the manufacturer for 10 years.

The wheeled carts are available in a 35 gallon, 65 gallon, and 95 gallon capacity.

The dimensions of a standard 32 gallon can are as follows:

• 35 Gallon Wheeled Cart
  (38"Hx23"Wx21"D)
  The capacity of a 35 gallon wheeled cart is equivalent to one 32 gallon garbage can.  A 35 gallon cart can hold three standard size kitchen bags.
  
   
• 65 Gallon Wheeled Cart (41.5"Hx25"Wx25"D)
  The capacity of a 65 gallon wheeled cart is equivalent to two 32 gallon garbage cans.  A 65 gallon cart can hold six  standard kitchen bags.

  (47"Hx30"Wx30"D)
  The capacity of a 95 gallon wheeled cart is equivalent to three 32 gallon garbage cans.  A 95 gallon cart can hold twelve standard kitchen bags.
