As part of the Village’s Solid Waste program each residential property
receiving curbside collection was distributed one green wheeled cart for refuse
collection and one blue wheeled cart for recycling collection. The Village
recognizes the fact that due to specific needs and special circumstances that
one refuse and one recycling cart per household may not work in all situations.
To address special situations additional refuse and recycling carts are
available through the Public Works department.
Refuse Carts
Additional refuse carts are available for a one time rental fee of $25.00 per
refuse cart regardless of size. All additional refuse carts are the property of
the Village and must be returned to the Public Works department when a homeowner
vacates the residence. The $25.00 rental fee is non-refundable.
Recycling Carts
Households are allowed one free recycling cart in addition to the recycling cart
originally provided by the Village. Households desiring more then two recycling
carts will be charged a one time rental fee of $25.00 for each recycling cart
regardless of size in excess of two carts. All additional recycling carts are
the property of the Village and must be returned to the Public Works department
when a homeowner vacates the residence. The $25.00 rental fee is non-refundable.
Refuse and recycling wheeled carts are available in three sizes:
35, 65 and 95 gallon.
