Each year the Village of Mount Prospect conducts various
traffic studies on our neighborhood streets. In many cases, traffic volume data
is collected through the use of mechanical traffic counters. The map below
shows average daily traffic volumes on those streets that have been studied
within the past few years. Numbers shown in BLUE
are local and collector streets under the jurisdiction of the Village.
Numbers shown in RED and
GREEN are under the jurisdiction of the
Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Cook County Highway Department,
respectively, and have been obtained through the IDOT web-site.
