The Engineering Staff is involved in many different facets of traffic in the
Village. On the main arterial roads, we assist the Illinois Department of
Transportation and Cook County Highway Department in providing for the safe and
efficient movement of different modes of transportation including vehicular,
pedestrian and bicycle. In our neighborhoods, we strive to make the streets a
safe environment for all users through education, police enforcement, and
engineering solutions.
