| Discount Taxi Program |

The Village sponsors a Discount Taxicab program, which allows
participants to travel to any location inside as well as outside the boundaries
of Mount Prospect. It does not matter if you are traveling two blocks or twenty
miles, the discount will apply, provided you use one of the three companies who
honor the discount. The cab companies do not offer any discounts for trips to or
from the airport.
To obtain a discount card, a person must be a Mount Prospect resident at least
sixty-five years of age, or meet the qualifications for disabled status.
(Disabled status refers to a resident who, due to the nature of the disability,
is unable to use existing public transportation.) Identification indicating home
address and date of birth are required before a card can be issued.
