The Village of Mount Prospect Human Services Department will administer
flu vaccinations on Tuesday, October 30 from 4:30 p.m.
to 7:30 p.m. for Mount Prospect residents ONLY or until supplies have been depleted. The
location is the Village Hall Community Center, 50 South Emerson Street,
Mount Prospect. No appointments are necessary.
Seniors who have Medicare A and B will not be charged for the shot, but must
bring their Medicare card and their supplemental insurance card with them in
order for the Village to file their insurance claim. Individuals with
Medicare HMO, Railroad Retirement, or who are under age sixty-five and do
not have Medicare, will be charged $20.00 for the shot.
Shots are available to anyone eighteen years of age and over. Anyone with
the following conditions will NOT be eligible for vaccination through the
Village: 1. Allergy to eggs, 2. History of Guillain Barre Syndrome, 3.
Pregnant, 4. Acute illness with a fever or history of seizures/convulsions
from fevers - Please contact your own physician.
