The Mount Prospect Fire Department is very proud of our facility and welcome visitors to our building. All of our fire station tours are conducted at our Headquarters Station at 112 E. Northwest Highway.

Our tours are scheduled Monday through Friday by appointment only. This is a working fire station and it is important to schedule the tours to make sure that someone is available to give the tour. Tours last between 30 to 60 minutes depending on the age level of the visitors and the number in the tour.

As a working fire station there maybe times that the firefighters might be on call helping other residents in the community and the vehicles might not be available for viewing.

To request a station tour contact the fire prevention bureau at 847.818.5253 or email at firestationtour@mountprospect.org
