Recently the State of Illinois has passed a law requiring the
installation of carbon monoxide detectors within 15-feet of sleeping
quarters in home that are heated with a fossil fuel appliances. For
years that State has also required smoke detectors with in 15-feet of
sleeping quarters along with every level of your home and within every
sleeping quarters.
Many times it is difficult to decide on what type of smoke or carbon
