Property Tax Relief

The Board of Trustees has approved funds to provide 2006 Mount Prospect real estate tax relief for qualifying owners of single-family residences. This opportunity is available to households having a gross annual income equal to or less than: $19,600 for 1 person; or $26,400 for 2 persons. The Village will rebate 50 percent (to a maximum of $100) of its portion of the total 2005 Cook County real estate tax bill.

Assistance in completing the application will be available at Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson Street in the Finance Department, between 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. on Thursday October 5, Thursday October 12, Tuesday October 17, Thursday October 19, Thursday November 2.
