CDBG Links First-Time Homebuyer Home Weatherization Single Family Rehab Public Service Programs

Since 1981, the Village of Mount Prospect has been administering the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. CDBG funds are granted to the Village of Mount Prospect by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds are intended to create viable communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment and expanded economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income persons.

Currently, the Village of Mount Prospect uses its CDBG funds for the following:

• Home Weatherization Grant Program
• Single-Family Rehabilitation Loan Program
• First Time Home Buyer
• Public Service Programs
