The Mount Prospect Fire Department offers several American Heart Association CPR classes including:

  1. Healthcare Provider,
  2. Heartsaver, and
  3. Family and Friends 

All classes will cover recognition and emergency resuscitation techniques for heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and airway obstruction in adults, children and infants. The classes also demonstrate the use of automatic external defibrillators (AED). Most classes are held at Mount Prospect Fire Station 14, located at 2000 E. Kensington Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. 

The Fire Department is offering CPR classes on the following dates*:

May 22 at 6 p.m. - Heartsaver/AED  (class held at 112 E. Northwest Highway)

(More classes will become available. Check back regularly for future dates).

* In addition to the scheduled classes, Township High School District 214 Continuing Education offers additional classes hosted and taught by the Mount Prospect Fire Department. To see a listing of these classes, click here and search for "CPR."
