Artisan 133 was started by local residents Cindy Riesing and Beth Benoit. The shop carries hand made one of a kind items mostly by local area artists but some from as far away as the Virgin Islands. Visit Artisan 133 and you will find beaded, semi precious stone and other jewelry, pottery, wonderful boiled wool hats and hand bags, luxury scarves, knit wrap and tailored jackets, hand made cards, collages, mirrors, paper mache, prints, paintings and more.

On Friday, November 21 from 4-8, Artisan 133 will host a jewelry extravaganza, featuring new pieces and demonstrations by many of our jewelry designers. Millie’s Hallmark is once again lending their assistance to the Mount Prospect Emergency Food Pantry. In 2008, they instituted the “adoption” program to help raise awareness and funds for the Village of Mount Prospect Human Services Department Emergency Food Pantry. This year, the program theme is “The Sweetness of Friendship.” Millie’s Hallmark window display will feature a North Pole theme and the plush animals available for adoption include small, medium and large polar bears as well as baby seals. Prices range from $5 - $40. 100% of the Adoption Donations will be donated to the Village of Mount Prospect Emergency Food Pantry. Each plush animal comes with its own personalized adoption certificate and will be available for its adoptive family to take it home starting December 15th.
