HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE
E- NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE – FREE
Merchants submit sales, event and news information for our monthly
E-newsletter. Post special events on website home page, plus a site
for participating restaurant menus. News must be submitted by the
20th of each month for inclusion in the E-Newsletter.

MEMBER CARD PROGRAM – FREE
Participating merchants distribute Member Cards to their customers
Merchants offer cardholders special rewards to be redeemed at their
store or restaurant. Card provides registration information to
receive FREE monthly e-newsletter. Card offers merchants a steady
stream of new customers
NEWSPAPER DISPLAY ADVERTISING – FREE
Village of Mount Prospect runs ads in The Daily Herald, Journal and
Topics and Trib Local to drive consumers to the website
POSTERS AND WINDOW CLINGS – FREE
Merchants receive free posters and window clings promoting program
MERCHANT BANNER PROGRAM – $
Advertise 24 hours a day 7 days a week with the Village of Mount Prospect Street Pole Banner Program. Located on many of the Village’s busiest streets and intersections, banners are an
effective way for motorists to see your business name on attractive Experience Mount Prospect banners.

Date: 1st Quarter 2010 Launch

Deadline: November 1, 2009
Banner locations are not guaranteed and are installed on light poles
on commercial streets throughout Mount Prospect. Any wear or tear
will be maintained by the Village at no additional charge.
EXPERIENCE MOUNT PROSPECT TELEVISION – $
EXMPTV showcases your unique shop or restaurant and makes it
come to life on our monthly television show produced on location. Colleen Kelly, former host of NBC’s 24/7 Chicago, engages you in
conversation to help viewers discover why your business is so unique.

MPTV reaches 75% of Mount Prospect households. In addition, a high quality, on demand, internet video of the show segments will be available for playback from experiencemountprospect.org website, or
as a link to your own website.
Production: Two to three hours with film crew (more time may be
needed for pick-up shots)
