FAQS

What about access to my driveway?
Because the sidewalk crosses thru driveways, there will be times when you will not have access to your driveway.  You will receive notification prior to the work.  When your driveway access is interrupted, you can expect to be without access for 10 days.   During this time that you cannot access your driveway, you will be permitted to park on Village streets within the immediate area of your home.    If you have special needs due to a disability or you discover that your sidewalk has been removed with your vehicle still in the driveway, please contact the Public Works Department.

Will services to my home be affected?
T
here will be no changes in your regular services such as garbage pick-up, leaf pick-up, mail delivery, or emergency services. Please use caution when driving and walking through the construction zone.  If you have a sprinkler system, invisible dog fence, decorative landscaping or brick pavers, please notify the Public Works department.

What time will construction start each day?
The contractor is allowed to start work at 7am and must stop work by 7pm.
