Opt-In Fees. No entrance fees will be applied to accounts who seek to join the Aggregation after the commencement of the Aggregation supply contract.

Opt-Out Fees. No exit fees will be applied to accounts who seek to leave the aggregation after the commencement of the Aggregation supply contract. If a customer chooses to opt-out, they have two months to choose another provider or the account will be under a 12-month “stay” and may not switch to a new supplier for that time.

Account Transfer Fees. No fees will be applied to Aggregation Members who relocate within the Village and new customers who establish new electric service.

If a customer is currently with a third party electric service provider other than ComEd, they can change to the municipal aggregation rate by contacting Homefield Energy at 866-694-1262. However, at the time of the call to Homefield Energy the customer should be aware of any penalties or notice requirements that have to be met in order to switch energy providers. Any penalties or advanced notice periods are the sole responsibility of the resident or business owner and the Village has no authority to alter those terms.
