The Village of Mount Prospect is an excellent place to live and do
business. The Village has several incentives and resources aimed at
attracting new businesses and economic development opportunities while
retaining and improving strong businesses and the talented labor pool that
already exist in our community. These programs include economic incentives
in the form of downtown exterior façade and interior remodel grants,
provision of market information, and guidance through the development
process. We are customer service oriented and look forward to assisting you
in your economic development efforts by helping you find the right building,
land, workforce, training, or anything else you need to be successful in our
Village. This section features information for and about businesses in Mount
Prospect. For more details about opening a business in Mount Prospect,

Consultant

recruitment of retail businesses. Some of her duties include (but are not

- Marketing existing niches home improvement and entertainment

While out in the field researching potential new businesses, she has found
several successful businesses that were not necessarily interested in opening a
new location themselves, but would be interested in “franchising” their business
to a local resident. If you have thought about opening a business in Mount
Prospect, but weren’t sure where to start, contact our retail consultant,
Cathy Maloney at
