The Village of Mount Prospect Centennial 4th of July Parade will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 beginning at 1 p.m at the corner of Emerson Street and Prospect Avenue. The Mount Prospect Special Events Commission would like to invite all civic, youth and neighborhood groups, businesses, schools, churches and elected officials to participate.
The Commission welcomes floats, decorated vehicles, walkers, bikes and anything that provides music and entertainment for the thousands of people who line the parade route. For businesses, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable exposure in the community. The Parade is televised and shown on our local cable channel many times throughout the summer months.
If you are interested, Associated Attractions will provide a fully assembled float for the parade. The Village will pay $200 per float towards the first 10 organizations to reserve a float through Associated. Please contact Steve Johnson at Associated Attractions 773/376-1900 to reserve your float today (limited).
