Public Meeting Charrette September 12: Busse Pocket Park
Give Your Opinion at the Busse Pocket Park Public Charrettes
The Village is in the process of developing the Edwin and Elsie Meyn Busse Pocket Park at the northeast corner of East Busse Avenue and South Emerson Street, and is seeking your input. To date the Village has purchased two parcels of land at 19 and 21 South Emerson Street, removed existing homes, and then hired an architectural design firm, Altamanu, Inc.
On Wednesday, September 12 at 7 PM in the Village Board Room, firm is seeking public input and consensus on the proposed park design.
Altamanu held a pop-up activity at the recent Downtown Block Party and at Talk & Chalk held in July. They will hold an second open house on October 24, more details to come. Visit the Busse Pocket Park webpage to learn more.
