Police Department Arrests Man For Reckless Discharge Of A Firearm
MOUNT PROSPECT POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST MAN FOR RECKLESS DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM
On Thursday, November 3, 2016, the Mount Prospect Police Department arrested and charged Zachary Reed, 19 years old, of 419 S. See Gwun Avenue, Mount Prospect, with two counts of Reckless Discharge of a Firearm.
On Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 12:07 A.M., The Mount Prospect Police Department responded to the 400 block of S. See Gwun Avenue for a report of shots fired. Upon investigation, it was learned that Zachary Reed had fired his AR-15 rifle multiple times into the ground near the driveway of his residence in the presence of others.
Reed was taken to a bond hearing at the 3rd District Circuit Court of Cook County in Rolling Meadows on November 3, 2016 where his bond was set at $40,000.00 “Electronic Monitoring”. Reed’s next court date is scheduled for November 28, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. in room 108 of the Rolling Meadows Courthouse.
