Police Department Files More Charges in Child Pornography Case
Mount Prospect Police File More Charges for Manufacturing of Child Pornography
On Monday, May 9, 2016, the Mount Prospect Police Department arrested and filed new charges against Ronald Godby, 53, of 713 S. I Oka Avenue, Mount Prospect, after a second victim was discovered during the continued investigation into the manufacturing of child pornography case against Godby. The new charges filed were one felony count of Manufacturing of Child Pornography, one felony count of Possession of Child Pornography, and one felony count of Grooming.
At this time, the investigation still has not revealed any evidence to support that these images were ever shared. This investigation is still ongoing. Godby was taken to a bond hearing at the 3rd District Circuit Court of Cook County in Rolling Meadows on May 10, 2016. Judge Cataldo set Godby’s bond at $175,000.00 “D”. His next court date is May 27, 2016 in room 108 of the 3rd District Circuit Court of Cook County in Rolling Meadows.
